Objectives:

oversee the implementation of common standards of instruction
in first aid amongst training centres in Singapore

review and standardise the contents of first aid training programmes
for various target groups

encourage and assist in the establishment and monitoring of
standards in first aid training

define and implement a process of national accreditation of
first aid training centres and instructors in Singapore

To
advise and provide continual professional development of instructors
in first aid

work with various organisations in increasing awareness of first
aid and the use of first aid procedures in the community for
the acutely sick and injured
